The Switch Pt 1

It all starts out when heroes- Zeru, Nightmare, and Haru are in Wake Forest relaxing being prepared for the worst. Soon they will realize that it will happen.

Everyone is sleeping during the early hours of the morning. Then Haru wakes up and sits up. “*Yawn* I can’t remember when I woke up this late. It feels good to wake up at 6am.” He said. He looked over and saw that Zeru was awake but Nightmare was under a cover turned over. “Hey Zeru, let’s wake him up.” Haru said “I wouldn’t if I were you.” Zeru warned. “Don’t worry its just the way you wake him up” Haru said mischievously. Then Haru pushed his hands into the ground hard causing a wind tunnel sending Nightmare flying into the sky “Here we go again.” Zeru said following Nightmare’s fall with his eyes. Nightmare fell to the ground the ground hard with a loud crash that woke up the rest of the forest.  “Morning, Sleepyhead.” Haru laughed. Nightmare pulled his head from the ground he pulled his hair from in front of his face to show that he was steaming mad. “You fail to see that they don’t call him NIGHTMARE for nothing.” Zeru explained. Then Nightmare got up and walked towards Haru. “You…are…so…dead.” he said angrily. Then Zeru jumped in front of Nightmare. “Whoa take it easy Nightmare he’s just kid.” Zeru said holding him back. “Hey I resent that.” Haru responded. “You have messed with me for the last time.” Nightmare said after pushing Zeru out of the way “I guess I have no choice but I have to do this…” Zeru sighed. Then Zeru ran up to Nightmare and grabbed him by his neck with his arm pulled him back and put two finger on his throat “Zeru what are you doing?” Nightmare said surprised. Then Zeru shocked Nightmare knocking him unconscious. “..Again.” Zeru said dropping Nightmare to the ground. “I’m not gonna keep doing this for you.” Zeru warned. “You’re gonna have to leave him alone. He has been though a lot. There some things you don’t know about him.” “Yeah but sometimes he needs to lighten up.” Haru said.

Later that Nightmare sat by a campfire by himself. “Now’s your chance to talk to him Haru.” Zeru said. “You sure about this Zeru?” Haru asked him. Then Zeru kept pushing Haru until he was behind Nightmare. “Just go.” Zeru whispered then he walked. “…Hey Nightmare what’s up?” Haru asked. Nightmare didn’t respond he just look at the fire sadly. “Look Nightmare I’m sorry for what I did this morning…” Haru started. “No Haru you it’s me.” Nightmare explained. “What do you mean?” Haru asked. “Well I …”Nightmare started. But he was interrupted by Zeru. “Guys you gotta come see this.” He said. Then Haru and Nightmare got up and ran to Zeru “What is it?” Nightmare asked. “Look.” Zeru said pointing. He was pointing at a large box with all three of their names on it. “Whoever did this must think were that stupid.” Nightmare said. Using the power of gravity, Nightmare put the box in the air and broke it open. Out fell 3 pieces of rope, on the rope were shapes a star, a square, and a circle. The three guys surrounded the pieces of rope, and stared at them. “…hm…weird.” Haru said. “C’mon lets sleep.” Zeru said. Then Zeru and Haru walked away, Nightmare was down on his knee by the rope to examine them. “Why would someone do this?” He asked his self.  Then he got up and walked away. Suddenly the 3 ropes turned into 3 long, fat, brown snakes with the shapes planted on their foreheads. The snake with the square on it forehead made it move on Nightmare by coming up quickly , before he could say anything  the snake wrapped around him and bit him in the neck. Then Haru came back “Nightmare, are you coming are what?” He asked. Then the snake with the circle made his move on Haru by hiding in the tall grass and bit him in the back of the leg making him pass out also. Then the final snake with the star on its head slithered to the campfire where Zeru was and bit him in the arm and he passed out.

The next morning Nightmare woke up dizzy. Then he got up from the ground. “…man. Have I gotten shorter?” he said to his self. Then realized something. “I wasn’t in front of the fire.” He thought to his self. He felt his head and pulled some of his hair in front of his face and saw that it was gray not yellow. He saw that he wasn’t wearing his armor. Then he ran to the stream and saw that that wasn’t his reflection it was Zeru’s!
